How to use
- Fill the fields with numbers you measured or were quoted.
- Click Calculate.
- Change one input and run it again. The interesting answer is the difference.
- If a handbook or a product label disagrees, believe that, not this page.
Moving quotes hide the shuttle, the stairs, and the long carry. This page only adds lines you type, so a low total means you left a line out, not that the move is cheap.
Worked example. An $800 truck quote, $120 fuel, $60 boxes, $200 in deposits, and no hotel is $1,180. One night at $140 makes $1,320. If the quote excluded stairs, add that before you compare cities.
Do not use this to pick a mover you have not checked. A calculator cannot tell you who will show up.
